HAS SMQ LOST HIS MIND? EVERY TEAM MUST GO!!!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
As official-type previews begin in earnest in, like, a week, SMQ is auctioning off the last five days of non-binding previews to the highest bidders (that is, the team not already prematurely or anticipatorily forecasted with the most requests for a preview in comments or in e-mails, though federal laws do not in any way prohibit the offer of substantial bribes from enthusiastic readers).

The fire sale will commence tomorrow and run through Saturday. If no requests come in on a given day, SMQ will preview whomever he likes. Let the bidding begin...

Comments:
Preview University of Washington! Isaiah Stanback is the Michael Vick of the Pacific Northwest....okay, maybe that's a bit much. How about the Michael Robinson of the Pacific Northwest?

Perhaps I'm beating a dead horse but how bout Texas?

Preview the University of Texas! In a season full of teams with question marks, none is more compelling than the Longhorns.

not a request for a team, but for SEC mascots. Did you get to them? I MUST know who wins the non-suck factor!

Texas is a good choice.

How about Notre Dame?

I've read many bad previews about them- but nothing interesting.

I'd have to go with Texas, how can you not preview the defending national champs?

Please preview Texas. We're dying down here.

How about the Washington State Cougars? They have the best non-USC WR in the conference and a very accurate quarterback.. and if they can just get a little better at holding leads (or a little luckier) they could win as many as 8 games. That, and Pullman might get a Taco Bell! Honor our town!

Iowa State...just cuase

cause*

I have been going to this site for weeks waiting for the Penn State preview. Don't let me down.

Please give us a Penn State Preview!

I read your blog and please preview UTEP its not a fancy major conference team but I would like you see your preview.

Penn State pleeeeeeeeeease!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Notre Dame in the upcoming season. Seems like an interesting team to analyze regardless of one's affiliations.

Wisconsin, Wisconsin, Wisconsin, WISCONSIN!

ppppuuuuuuhhhhhllllleeeeeeaaaaasssseeeee, mister!

And don't let the name fool ya - second guessing the phenomenal athletic feats and split-second decisions of college kids under extreme physical duress is for every day of the week.

AWWW!! The totally nicest people, like, ever!...

How much football does he watch? Dude's got insights on -everybody-, and by everybody, I mean everybody. Throw in some of the best writing in the blogosphere, and we're talking about a daily must-read.
- Burnt Orange Nation

SMQ starts to sound more and more like the Gregg Easterbrook of our ideal memories every day - whip-smart, systematic, omnivorous in his intellectual tastes and yet unafraid of the cheap joke.
- Every Day Should Be Saturday

Sunday Morning Quarterback is one of our favorite football blogs on the internet.
- State Fans Nation

Sunday Morning Quarterback is a killer football blog if you are a college football junkie. It is run by one of the most thoughtful, intelligent, and analytical writers in the college football blogosphere...The guy is thorough and detailed and provides a level of analysis you are not going to find anywhere else .
- Bruins Nation

Just another hack writer who hasn't done one lick of research... - SOT2

...the pride of Southern Mississippi ever since Brett Favre turned into an ESPN soap opera, has the sort of prose knack that can keep you riveted to a preview about any one of D-IA's scrubbier members ... should be given gifts.
